I mentioned @godotengine in the interview I did with I Make FOSS.

Godot is a FOSS video game engine for both 3D and 2D. AAA devs, including Sega, are already using it. Wonderfully intuitive. IMO, this is going to be next breakthrough project like Blender has been.
