At Health Canada we are working towards establishing a Center of Excellence around data science.

To this end we are exploring data management and artificial intelligence to assist our staff in getting the most out our existing, sprawling data sources.

We are experimenting with Flutter at Health Canada.

Flutter is cool because it can run natively on web, mobile and desktop (including Ubuntu).

This is important to me because I don’t want to force anyone to change their OS just to run my app.

What about UX Twitch broadcasts? @tidelift has been doing that, I’ve enjoyed listening to them discuss issues.

The readme says you should be using Pop!_OS 21.04 to get the full experience. I’m on 20.04. I think some things may not work properly, e.g. I had to install Dash to Dock.

@blackops @system76 @jeremy_soller It’s easy to overdo transparency. In some places it just looks right to me.

I think blur MUST go with transparency otherwise reading text can become an issue.

Either opaque or transparency+blur but never transparency w/o blur.
